Week 9: Texturing Classroom Environment & Lighting Set-up

Introduction:

In this week’s blog post, I’ll be talking about how I managed to texture the classroom environment and set up the lighting. Lastly, I’ll be listing down my objectives to complete by next week.

This Week’s Task:

I began this week by texturing the classroom’s environment, beginning with the exterior design.

Exterior Texturing:

Textured Walls, Floor, Ceiling, Window & Door (Exterior) #1
Textured Walls, Floor, Ceiling & Window (Exterior) #2

I then moved on to the interior design, starting off with the essential objects, followed by the preferrable additional objects.

Lighting Set-up:

When it came to setting up the lighting, I began by creating a SkyDomeLight and applying an HDRI texture to it.

HDRI Lighting:

Once I created the SkyDomeLight, I noticed my environment was too dark. To fix this, I went into the SkyDomeLight settings and changed the “shadow Colour” so that it was brighter.
